Context

OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) treatment presents unique challenges, and traditional methods often lack the flexibility and personalization necessary for effective therapy. My interest in this space stemmed from the intent to imagine an encouraging future for the therapeutic landscape through possibilities that future technology could bring.

Problem

Creating personalized exposure materials for OCD clients poses significant challenges for therapists, particularly when replicating complex or risky triggers. Studies proved Virtual Reality to be an effective method of immersive exposure, but its widespread adoption is hindered by the disproportionate effort and access to resources required relative to the outcomes achieved.
